Welcome to my garden. I’m Peggy Fiedler, and I’m a compassion advocate, cancer thriver and storyteller. Today I’d like to talk about the blue jay.
This week, the winter garden looks barren, but I know beneath the brush is an ecosystem abundantly alive. The blue jays arrive, sweeping from branch to branch, imprinting their deeply lavish pop of color on my mind. Their arrival is filled with cacophony and color—they are absolutely unforgettable.
Every time they come to my space, they pique my curiosity. It’s almost like they’re inviting me on a quest, signaling it’s time to summon our inner power and tap into our highest potential.
Blue jays are faithful companions known for their intelligence and complex social systems. They are the masters of accompaniment. They represent the wisest, most resourceful and most determined parts of ourselves.
With their spectacular plumage and raucous nature, they never go unnoticed.
When they arrive, I’m enchanted. Standing mesmerized at my window, I am fascinated with how they must make themselves be known. They stand out with their uniqueness. They remind us of the importance of being seen and heard. They call us to find our true selves and forge a meaningful path.
