Their glory reminds us to be here now, wake up, find contentment in the present moment
Welcome to my garden. I’m Peggy Fiedler, and I’m a compassion advocate, cancer thriver and storyteller. Today I’d like to talk about the rhododendron.
The rhododendrons are in bloom, and they are abundant. They are striking with their glossy green foliage and showy clusters of voluminous flowers. They are magnificent.
Rhododendrons can be purple or pink or red or yellow or white. They are about romance and passion and love and tenderness. They are the ultimate in contentment. They are the perfect way to say, “I appreciate you” and “I want to be around you for a long time.”
Native to sunny areas, they can bring light and warmth to any landscape. They radiate. They are abundant with positive energy and cheer the whole environment around them. They proclaim, “Everything’s better because of you!”
Their beauty and elegance are a spiritual gift because they open your heart. This is the first step on the path to meeting your true soulmate.
The concept of soulmate is all-encompassing, meaning not only the one-to-one soulmate but the one within, the most sacred part of ourselves. That true soulmate is the one who never leaves us. A true soulmate holds dear your authentic self and your sacred purpose in life.
Holding this cherished knowledge is the way to a contentment that we can experience in every moment. No more do we yearn for the missing piece. It is always here.
The glory of the rhododendrons in full bloom reminds us to be here now. Sometimes we allow ourselves to only truly enjoy the moment in retrospect, but the abundant rhododendron wakes us up. We can rest in the knowledge that here in the present moment, all is serving our soul.
